Governor Kelly Directs Flags be Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Former Chief Judge of the Kansas Court of Appeals Gary Rulon

TOPEKA— Today, in accordance with Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly has directed flags throughout the State of Kansas be flown at half-staff from sunup to sundown on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, in honor of former chief judge of the Kansas Court of Appeals, Gary Rulon.

“From his time in the Navy to his tenure on the bench, Judge Rulon spent his life in service to Kansas and our country,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “He undoubtedly touched the lives of many. My thoughts and condolences go out to his loved ones.”
