TOPEKA— Today, in accordance with Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly has directed flags be lowered to half-staff on all state buildings, grounds, and facilities effective immediately until sundown on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in honor of Kansas State Representative Marvin Robinson. He represented Kansas House District 35 since 2023.
“Representative Robinson showed a commitment to public service throughout his time in the Navy and the Kansas Legislature,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “My thoughts go out to his friends and family during this difficult time.”
This flag order will be updated when the date of interment is determined.
