Sebelius appoints two to the Governor Kathleen Sebelius has appointed Kathy Hubka and Lori Senne to the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board. “This board helps to ensure our state’s more than 8,500 licensed behavioral science professionals are providing Kansans with quality services,” Sebelius said. Hubka, Andover, holds a nursing degree from Fort Hays State University and has more than two decades of experience in the field of nursing. Currently, Hubka is the coordinator of health services for the Wichita school district. Senne, McFarland, earned her nursing degree from the Howard County Community College in Columbia, Maryland. After which, she served as a health services administrator for the Wyandotte and Johnson County jails. From 2000 until 2003, Senne served as a staff nurse at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Currently, Senne is the health services administrator at the Topeka Correctional Facility. The Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board protects and serves the consumers of behavioral science services through the issuance of licenses, resolution of complaints and the creation of appropriate regulations for psychologists, social workers, counselors and therapists. # # # |
