Sebelius names Ozawkie resident to ensure skilled
health providers Kansans depend on those who provide primary care and to ensure the best care possible, Governor Kathleen Sebelius has appointed Sheri Floyd to the Physician Assistant Council. “Kansans are served by a wide range of health care providers, and we want to ensure the providers they rely on have the skills and training needed to provide first-class care. The work of the Physician Assistant Board is key to this effort,” Sebelius said. The Physician Assistant Council advises the Board of Healing Arts regarding issues involving physician assistants. Floyd, Ozawkie, is physician assistant at the Cotton O’Neil Clinic in Meriden. Previously, she worked as a physician assistant in family practices, urgent care clinics, nursing homes and emergency rooms. Floyd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1997 from Wichita State University. Floyd will serve a 3-year term. # # # |
