14 October 2005 Governor appoints long-time community leader to Delta Dental Board Governor Kathleen Sebelius has appointed Elizabeth Kinch to the Board of Directors for Delta Dental Plan of Kansas. She will fulfill a four-year term. The Board of Directors for Delta Dental works to help meet the dental care needs of Kansans by delivering flexible and innovative insurance plans that emphasize superior service, value and cost management. “Many Kansans rely on Delta Dental for their dental health needs,” Governor Sebelius said. “Members of this board must use good fiscal management and business-like sense to ensure ample coverage for its members. Elizabeth’s past experience with Delta Dental makes her a perfect addition.” Kinch, Derby, is an instructor at Cowley County Community College, and until recently Wichita State University. Appointed by then-U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman, she served on the National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council until 2004. Kinch has been a member of the Kansas Automobile Insurance Plan and Kansas Automobile Assigned Claims Plan Governing Committee. In 2004, she was president of the Delta Dental Plan of Kansas Foundation. |
