Governor stands up for Kansans
Sebelius: “As long as I’m Governor, Kansans will continue to recite the Pledge of Allegiance”

The following statement is from Governor Kathleen Sebelius:

“When I was in school, we recited the Pledge of Allegiance.  When my two sons were in Kansas public schools, they recited it too.  Legislators recite it every day of the session.  As long as I am Governor, I encourage all Kansans to join me in continuing to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and honor our Country.”

** Governor Sebelius will proudly say the Pledge of Allegiance with any class she visits in the coming weeks, months or years.
