Governor Sebelius to visit Marysville July 3

On July 3, Governor Kathleen Sebelius will travel to Marysville. During her visit, Governor Sebelius is scheduled to attend a public reception hosted by the American Legion from 2 to 3 p.m.

During her visit to Marysville, she will be recognizing the Kansas National Guardsmen serving in Northeast Kansas and the community of Marysville for their loyal support of these men who have recently served in Iraq. She also will be honoring all emergency and public safety workers whose job it is to keep all Kansans safe over the 4th of July holiday weekend.

The event will be held at the American Legion Hall, 310 N 19th St., in Marysville. The public is invited to attend.
