Governor Sebelius appoints Colby businessman to the Abstracters’ Board of Examiners

Governor Kathleen Sebelius today announced her appointment of Gregory S. Gordon to the Abstracters’ Board of Examiners. Gordon will serve a three-year term.

The Abstracters’ Board of Examiners licenses abstracters to protect public land in transactions.

“I am pleased Greg has agreed to lend experience to this board to ensure that all abstracters are fully qualified, so as to protect land buyers and sellers,” said Governor Sebelius.

Gordon, Colby, is the president of The Gordon Company of Colby, Inc. He has been an abstracter and appraiser for 28 years. Gordon also has ten years of experience as a real estate broker and 28 years of experience in title insurance and escrow services.
