25 March 2005 Winfrey Reappointed to the Information Network of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius announced the reappointment of Roger Winfrey to the Information Network of Kansas. He will serve a three-year term. “Kansans deserve to know about their government’s actions and about the many services the state offers. The Information Network of Kansas puts that information at residents’ fingertips, and Roger Winfrey has been a key part of that. I’m glad that he will continue to serve on INK’s board,” Governor Sebelius said. Winfrey, Eureka, is the owner of the Insurance Planning Center. He was a county commissioner in Greenwood County and served as chairman of the Board of Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Winfrey continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. The function of the Information Network of Kansas is to provide electronic access for members of the public to public information agencies via gateway services. |
