Federal State Access & Visitation Program (SAVP)

Federal State Access & Visitation Program (SAVP)
Purpose To provide supervised child exchange or supervised child visitation to children and families at risk because of circumstances relating to neglect; substance abuse; emotional, physical, or sexual abuse; domestic or family violence; etc.
Eligible Applicants Funds are available to units of state or local government, for profit organizations and private not for profit organizations. A 10% non-federal cash match is required.
Funding Sources The Federal State Access & Visitation grant program is a formula grant program to states and participation is voluntary. The federal administrative agency is the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
