For years, faith-based and community groups have provided care and services to those who otherwise may not receive assistance. The Faith-Based and Community Iniatives' purpose is to strengthen and expand grassroots and faith-based services.

The Kansas Faith-Based and Community Initatives Program provides information, assistance and contacts to various state agencies for faith-based and community groups looking for grant opportunities.
