Volunteer Kansas
Giving Our Communities a Helping Hand

Volunteer your timeOur state is already setting the standard for strong volunteering – ranking fifth nationally in the Corporation for National and Community Service’s 2007 “Volunteering in America” report. While we are doing a great job, I know we can do even better.

That is why I have worked to compile a list of service organizations throughout the state of Kansas that is readily accessible to everyone on this website.

Volunteer your timeBy making it easier to find service opportunities, we can build on our already robust tradition of volunteering. Whether it be providing support to the homeless, reading to children in our schools, or helping to feed the hungry, thousands of opportunities exist in counties big and small. Connecting you to them is the first step – the second is to get out and give back.

Join me in giving back to our neighbors, our communities, and our state. Together, we can make a difference by making Kansas an even better place to live than it already is – by working together, we will do just that.
